Complete data requirements for proper quotation of PCB Assembly jobs:

Bill of Materials – Please submit the Bill of Materials in either MS Excel or delimited format. Ensure that any components not to be placed or not included in the kit are highlighted in red. The BOM should consist of the following details: Part Number, Reference Designator, Description, and Footprint (Package).

Gerbers – Please provide us with all the Gerber files generated by your CAD program, as if you were preparing them for fabrication. We require, at a minimum, the silk screen, copper, and solder paste layers for assembly.

Centrorid Data (aka Insertion or Pick-and-place or XY data) – Please provide the machine files, including X, Y, Theta, Side of Board (Top or Bottom), and Reference Designator. If you’re unable to generate this file, Precision Tech can create it for you from the Gerber files. Additionally, Assembly Drawings are appreciated to ensure all special PCB Assembly instructions are accurately followed. Please ensure that the Polarity marking on the Silk Screen indicates polarity and 1st-pin markings.
